Alex is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, health coach and wellness activist. Passionate about health, wellness, and behavioral change, her goal is to educate, inspire, and help individuals to take charge of their own health in order to prevent disease while living the highest quality of life possible!
She moved to the West Coast with her husband in 2016 when she found and joined the team as an integrative & functional dietitian at Placer Private Physicians. She is a certified wellness coach and health advocate, and is in the process of getting the IFNCP credential. Alex has worked specifically with multiple chronic diseases like Type 2 Diabetes, CVD, obesity and weight mngt, autoimmune, and gastrointestinal conditions. In her previous life she attended Johnson & Wales University for food service management and culinary, as well as Kennesaw State and Norfolk State for wellness coaching, nutrition & food science, and exercise physiology.
She is a part of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy, CAND, DIFM, American Heart Association, and AFAA/NASM. In her free time enjoys cooking delicious (and healthy) food, hiking (or just being outdoors), and travelling anywhere and everywhere. She is thrilled to be a part of an organization that recognizes the importance of a health & nutrition! She looks forward to working with each and every one of you!
